Meet one of our amazing employees

  • I’ve been here for two seasons now, and I honestly love it. A big part of that is the great atmosphere and the amazing colleagues I get to work with. In Housekeeping we have three different sub-departments, and sometimes we help each other out if we finish our own tasks in Room Cleaning. On our team we usually work in pairs or in groups of three, and the nice thing is that everyone can work well with everyone. Of course, over time you naturally find the people you click with the most, but in general it just works. Even during high season, when things get a little hectic, we always manage to keep up. The routines are clear, we know each other well, and somehow everything just falls into place—even when there are 400 guests staying at the hotel. But what really makes Tjintokk special for me is everything beyond the daily work. As an employer they offer so much. We have access to a gym, a restaurant, even an ice rink. There are all kinds of activities too—like “Ladies’ Night” with dart competitions and air rifle shooting, or the chance to go snowmobiling. Because these things are done in groups, you get to know people outside your own team, and that creates such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. There’s just so much here that I appreciate. And on top of it all, I really enjoy living in the north of Sweden—the nature is absolutely breathtaking.
