For me, it was my interest in vehicles that made me apply. It's fun to do what you're interested in. You don't have to have a big interest in vehicles to work here, you get a lot of help and support from kind, helpful and caring leaders and colleagues. But it's certainly a fun job for someone who likes cars and likes to take on challenges. Getting insight into the latest technology is also exciting. It's fun to learn a little more about how the systems are created.

I started my career at Tjintokk as a car tester in various departments, both with heavy vehicles and with passenger cars. Eventually I slipped into Trackteam and have been here for 6 seasons. In our area, we do track maintenance and workshop work. I work on the lake as a track worker and there are a total of 4 of us per shift led by a group leader. In calm weather, the work flows. Challenges can arise when the weather gets rougher and then we can have to prioritize, something we have our routines for. Colleagues that I appreciate are those who have a high work ethic and who are willing to learn. You should be humble and open to learning, with the right attitude anyone can handle this job. What I appreciate most about coming to this job is the nice colleagues. We have a good atmosphere here and that's what makes you feel comfortable.

This is the 3rd season in a row that I have worked here, but since I have been here before, I can say that I have worked here for a total of 5 seasons and I enjoy it. We have good supervisors, nice colleagues and a good atmosphere here. We have our routines that we follow and our supervisors are helpful with this, which means that the work flows well even during stressful periods. It is nice to have a routine to lean back on, the work becomes more efficient then. Even though we come from several different countries, it is easy to learn the job and to collaborate across borders. Good communication, a good attitude and a healthy physique are good qualities for enjoying here and doing a good job. Anyone can learn this job, thanks in large part to the fact that the routines are so clear and our supervisors are good at showing and teaching.

I had heard a lot about Tjintokk but didn't know much. I have always had a great interest in engines and technology and being able to be involved and follow new technology up close suits me. Even though I am already well-versed in technology, new things always appear and this will continue to be the case in this industry for a long time to come. You don't have to be interested in technology to work here, but I think it is a fun and developing job for those who are. For my part, I have been entrusted with a certain amount of responsibility by my group manager, something that I have enjoyed. But ultimately, it is my colleagues who have made me enjoy myself as much as I have. There are few workplaces where I have felt as comfortable as here.

Tjintokk is part of Sami mythology and folklore. In Sami tradition and culture, Tjintokk is a spirit or being that is considered to be connected to winter and cold. Tjintokk is said to be a spirit or supernatural being that moves through the forests and mountains during the dark and cold season. Tjintokk is often described as a creature with animalistic features, like a hybrid between a reindeer and a bird. It is said to have large horns and wings and to be endowed with magical powers. The creature is said to be connected to the cold and can cause storms and cold by blowing on its horns. Stories about Tjintokk are sometimes used to explain extreme weather conditions or provide an explanation for unexpected events in nature during the winter months.
